Walter Trout

Get ready for a blistering night of blues-rock fire as Walter Trout — the veteran guitarist, singer, and songwriter whose career has spanned more than five decades — rolls into town. Trout cut his teeth in the lively late-’60s and early-’70s Jersey coast scene before relocating to Los Angeles to work as a sideman with legendary figures such as John Lee Hooker and Big Mama Thornton.

In 1981 he joined the iconic blues-rock outfit Canned Heat, and later became the lead guitarist for John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers — treading the very same boards once walked by Peter Green and Eric Clapton.

Trout launched his solo career in 1989 and has since released more than thirty acclaimed albums, earning a loyal following throughout Europe and North America. His remarkable journey — including a near-fatal illness and triumphant return following a liver transplant in 2014 — has infused his music with unmatched depth and authenticity.

Now, with his new album Sign of the Times, Walter Trout delivers some of his most powerful work to date. Blending fiery guitar work, soulful storytelling, and unflinching honesty, the record captures the spirit of an artist who continues to evolve while staying true to the roots of the blues.

Expect searing guitar solos, heartfelt vocals, and a performance that blends grit, groove, and grace. When Walter Trout hits the stage, you’re not just hearing the blues — you’re witnessing a master craftsman channeling a lifetime of passion, perseverance, and pure musical fire.
