BLACK was formed in 2006 by Guitarist Rich Garcia Jr, and Drummer Gregorio Jimenez Jr.

July of 2013 saw the release of the debut album "United States of War"... 2017 saw a few member departures...

with the addition of HABEAS CORPUS/MIND FURNACE Lead Vocalist: Don McMillan III in early 2019.

HABEAS CORPUS/ART OF CHAOS Guitarist Tom Jimenez was recruited to perform Bass Guitar

on "Untouched By Light" and record and mix the album in his home studio, Audio Edge Recordings of Sacramento.

During the recording phase the group asked Good Friend and POSSESSED Lead Guitarist Claudeous Creamer

to perform on the New tracks and is featured on all four final songs.

2020 saw the addition of History Channel music contributor and SLAVES OF MANHATTAN Lead Guitarist Austin Elkington.

"Untouched by Light" was released in April of 2020 Worldwide featuring 4 brand new songs.

The group moving forward in 2020 with shows booked in Sacramento and the Bay Area,

saw COVID-19 Lockdowns force the groups handful of shows to be cancelled.

DEAD IN SECONDS, Rythym/Lead Guitarist, Erik Von Krauss.

March of 2023 saw the addition of PIERCED FROM WITHIN Guitarist Kelley Brown to perform Bass Guitar.

You may still ask what makes D-One so special? It's our differences that does. You have four different individuals from four totally different backgrounds that love each other. Like being born and raised by the same parents, Fighting for the same things. Brotherhood and Equality while respecting each other and building a bridge where a dialogue can be established with no fear and no judgment. Understanding and accepting DIVERSITY is the key to make our world great. WE ALL ARE Diverse and WE ARE ALL One. We started as four people who met from by chance from the creation of song and now we are brothers for life. I DARE you not to like what we stand for. I DARE you to not like us as individuals. I DARE you to be free and be open minded to something so different.
