Battle of the Bands is back at The Boardwalk — If guitar is your love language, this night’s for you.

We’re giving local and regional artists the chance to earn an opening slot for Matteo Mancuso on Thursday, January 29th.

Known for jaw-dropping technique, fearless improvisation, and genre-blending virtuosity, Matteo is one of the most talked-about modern guitarists on the planet — and this is your shot to share the bill!

And the best part is... It's FREE!

All Ages Welcome — Bring your friends and family! If you’re under 21, you must attend with a parent and or guardian.

We are gratefully accepting donations to support The Aloha Initiative, the non-profit philanthropic arm of The Boardwalk. The Aloha Initiative contributes to the welfare of families, veterans, and pets at risk locally and beyond — spreading community support and aloha where it’s needed most. Battle of the Bands – Submission Criteria

Band size: Three (3) members or fewer

Format: Instrumental only

Genres: Psychedelic Rock, Progressive Rock, and/or Jazz Fusion

Eligibility: Original music strongly encouraged

Judging based on:

• Musicianship & stage presence
• Originality & genre compatibility
• Promotion & fan participation

Submission deadline: Wednesday, December 24th at 11:59 PM

Bands must be available to perform on January 29th

Required Submission Materials

• Band name and lineup
• Short artist bio (150 words max)
• Links to music (live video preferred; streaming links accepted)
• Social media links (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.)
• Contact information (primary representative)
